The blind can neither see the sun at noon,
Nor notice the shine of a fully grown moon.
Stars that twinkle in the dark night,
Disappear when the day gets bright.
When the darkness is lit by light,
Those most in need lose the sight.
Only the lucky ones get the chance,
To recognise the light at first glance.
To get around the flame they strife,
And protect the glow with their life.
