Hazrat Ameer (Head) Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Saeed Pasha Sahib's Eid-ul-Fitr 1425 A.H. (14th November 2004) Message [in English]:
![]()
And when My servants ask thee concerning Me, surely I am nigh.
I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me,
so they should hear My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way.
(Holy Quran 2:186)
During
the Holy Month of Ramadan, Allah has given us a grand opportunity to
fast, pray and seek His pleasure and closeness. In the verse of the
Holy Quran that I have cited above, Allah says that He answers when a
suppliant calls upon Him. Today we celebrate the end of Ramadan and
this day of happiness is to mark the opportunity we have had to draw
close to Allah through our prayers in this Holy Month. While we
celebrate our closeness to Allah we should resolve to keep our
determination to stay close to Him in the life ahead. This should be
a determination to continue our prayers and continue obeying the
commands of Allah, which He has enjoined on us through the Holy
Quran, and the Sayings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad, may peace
and blessings of Allah be upon him. Only the observance of these
duties imposed upon us will strengthen further the bond of closeness
that has been created between Allah and us. Let us pray and resolve
to continue our efforts.
I wish you a very happy Eid and pray to Allah Almighty that He help us in forming a Jamaat [Movement] of the dutiful that the Reformer of this Age [Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Sahib of Qadian] has envisaged for us. I pray that all the Ahmadi brothers and sisters work as one to achieve the high objectives of this religious body whose single aim is to serve Islam selflessly and only for the pleasure of Allah. Only award we should aspire for is the grant of Allahs pleasure.
Abdul Karim Saeed
